Hotel Caju

My husband and I just stayed at Hotel Caju for one week for our honeymoon and we loved everything about this hotel! The best part was the hospitality from all of the staff. Everyone working here is so friendly, welcoming, and they go above and beyond for you, especially Marco! The staff were very helpful in answering our questions and giving us advice on places to go and things to see. Everyone was also very personable, remembering that it was our honeymoon, asking us how we liked the bottle of wine in our room, and even asking how my husband was feeling after he got sick. The room was very comfortable and they kept it very clean for us. The shower was the best part. Finally, we got the breakfast included with our room and it was so nice having a free, delicious breakfast, coffee and juice of the day every morning. 11/10 recommend.

This hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and nearly all the points of interest in Funchal. The staff went above and beyond multiple times, including storing and heating up our leftover food one evening and providing cutlery to eat it. The rooms are beautiful; we stayed in a third floor suite with a soaking tub and balcony with sunrise views. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice boutique hotel. We found it super beautiful and comfortable. The bedding and mattress were amazing. Honestly the rooms were really well-appointed. A lot of thought went into the design. Also a perfect location. Breakfast at Prima Caju the first day was perfect with outstanding service and tasty, healthy food. The second day we had a very grumpy waitress who didn't seem to enjoy her job one bit. Regardless though, we would stay here again in and recommend it to others.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the bathroom impeccably clean, and though the room was compact, its layout was efficiently designed. The tranquility of the surroundings and excellent soundproofing made for a peaceful retreat. The only minor detail missing was a Nespresso machine. The welcoming and professional staff added to the positive experience. The breakfast was a sumptuous affair, served à la carte with locally sourced and incredibly fresh products, presented in a trendy manner. I also had the pleasure of lunching at the hotel's restaurant, where the cuisine was a delicious celebration of simplicity, accentuating local ingredients with freshness and a superb presentation. The restaurant's decor was equally impressive. In conclusion, I highly recommend Boutique Hotel Y for its chic comfort, exceptional dining experience, and the warmth of its staff. It truly offers a memorable stay for those seeking a blend of luxury and local charm.
